Evolution of the SIS

In addition to the enhancements and new features provided in this release, the core technologies in PowerSchool have been rebuilt using the Java programming language resulting in better performance, better stability, and an improved installation process. This technology forms the foundation for PowerSchool to support multiple languages and integrate with other systems.

PowerSchool 7.0 also receives significant under-the-hood performance tuning with an upgrade from Oracle 10g to the latest version of the industry-leading database, Oracle 11g.
